I posted a question about winamp slowing down on my pc and was informed i have a virus of some sort. I have downloaded AVG but it hasn’t found any worms or viruses, does anyone know of any other free anti virus programmes which will find this bug?

Try Malbytes anti mail ware- I think i spelt it wrong but it is shareware but it works good and picks up any viruses
AVG seems to be the best free antivirus software. But then again, free softwares are like free advices, they never work the way you’d want them to.
I suggest you look at BitDefender and Kaspersky. They are around $25-35/year and very good. No slowdown problems at all
Try Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware… Good and shareware tool for malwares and viruses!
You may also try the Kaspersky’s online scanning.
