Kaspersky is great antivirus software but it can be a little harder to find than other programs, Webroot antivirus wiht antispyware is the best you wont get a virus bu like once every 2 months maybe, but if you do webroot will take every bit of it out of your computer and quarintine it and then you can permanetly delete it and it will be like nothing happened.
Kaspersky Internet Security is a great Antivirus program. It may cost around 35-40 dollars. As long as it is updated regularly, it can give excellent security to your PC.

For 1GB ram I use Avira premium. Its simple, ease and it also protects from online threat. I am using it for 2 years and I had no complaints. I also ran a online scan and it says i had no infections on my computer. See this is for 2 years.
