There are plenty of free anti-virus and anti-spyware programs that will do a lot better job than a website can probably do. For spyware, the best one definitely has to be Spybot S&D > http://www.safer-networking.org/
And for anti-virus, the one I use is AVG, which is really good for finding viruses. There is a free version of AVG that’s just anti-virus called AVG Free > http://free.avg.com/
Another free anti-virus program is one I haven’t tried yet, but have heard some really good reviews about. it’s called Avast! Home Edition > http://www.avast.com/
All of these programs are free forever, meaning they’re not just free trials or anything, their freeware programs that you’ll never have to pay for. Also, unlike what you might of heard about most anti-virus programs, these really don’t slow down your computer at all, and if it does, you can turn them off whenever you want.
