I can’t remember many details, it’s a very strange and dark film. The main character is a white male, around 30 – he becomes very paranoid of his friend (a black male)… they seem to be trying to get him to take a conformity drug or something. Anyway, at the end of the film the main character ends up with his brain removed to defeat his paranoia and the virus. I thought the main actor was Cillian Murphy, but I can’t see anything on IMDB that correlates to him. Anyone any ideas?

And it’s not 28 Days/Weeks Later… I think it had something like ‘code’ or or something in the title, maybe not though, it’s quite an obscure film, not very widely known about I don’t think.

One Response to “What's the name of the film? Involves brain removal, hard-drive virus and paranoia?”

  • Adrianne says:

    It is 28 Days Later
    little overview:
A powerful virus escapes from a British research facility. Transmitted in a drop of blood and devastating within seconds, the virus locks those infected into a permanent state of murderous rage. Within 28 days the country is overwhelmed and a handful of survivors begin their attempts to salvage a future, little realising that the deadly virus is not the only thing that threatens them.

Cillian Murphy plays Jim sees the virus in a coma and wakes up 28 days later.
