I started this blog after I got so mad of myself and the world.
I paid this "computer expert" a $100 to fix my computer after
it got a virus. Everything was ok for a week and then I got
another virus - I didnt have the money to pay that guy again
or to buy all these big companies software that cost just as much.
I had to find a good anti virus product
that i could afford.
Luckily I stumbled on this great forum where I read many
recommendations about full-antivirus-safety.com.
So I decided to open a site and help out women like me that got a virus on their computer
and dont want to spend too much
money on an anti virus program. So I got my friend to help
me and her insisted that I will also mention CA antivirus since thats the best software he
has used since he got his first computer in 1998.

i want a free anti-virus pogram that scans viruses/spyware and basicly protects my computer from viruses. it has to be 100 percent free.

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.0 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from http://www.download.com/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

There are dozens of programs out on the web for viruses, most of which are about the same.
As for anti spyware, I would recommend Spybot Search and Destroy. Very good at removing spyware and malware from your system. Comes with tons of extra features (like preventing homepage hijacking, etc…). Check the source for more information.
adaware free and works great!
Avg is the one option but better is avast.

McAfee is not free but it has probly the best security features. Try going to the McAfee site and you might be able to download some freeware. Here is the link:
