I already have spybot. It’s not finding nothing. I am sure there is something in my computer because it is lagging. Can someone please tell me what other Virus/Spyware programs are compatible with McAfee? Thanks!

comodo firewall pro
malwarebytes anti-malware
SUPERAntispyware
ccleaner and mvregclean to clean your computer.
m
get rid of McAfee
Nod32 and TrendMicro are 2 of the best out there.
If you think your computer is lagging, run ccleaner and let it clean your registry and dump all your temp files. After a reboot you should see much better preformance.
If you are still concerned about virus or malware, download malwarbytes. It will find what others dont
Just because your computer is lagging does not mean you are infected. If you want a program to double Check Mcafee, Spybot is not the one. Plus Spybot with real protection could be lagging your computer a little. Mcafee is also not one of the leaner security program. You have two programs that are running real time protection. Dump Spybot, and get SuperAntiSpyware from download.com. Run a full scan with it. You also might want to check out this Tune up tool. It is free and good.

you should not be running ANYTHING with McAfee,it will do the job it is supposed to be doing by itsself, you never want more than 1 antivirus running, they would be working againist one another,if i were you i would uninstall both, run a disc cleanup and defrag, then install the Macfee again,if that does not clear up your problem you should format the drive back to factory level and start over clean
Have you defragmented your computer recently? Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disc Defragmenter. Do that before anything. It’ll take 30-60 minutes. Next, clean up your disc: Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disc Cleanup. That will take 5 minutes. If Virus/Spyware doesn’t work, try Ad/Malware. Yesterday, I got rid of Win32.Backdoor-DNM with this small program (it took 60 minutes):

any of them u can have as many as u like but dont run to many at the same time To get rid of most viruses, worms, adware, etc.
Step 1.
Download Avast! Home Edition as this is THE best free antivirus protection out there. Only drawback is you have to register within 60 days for free and every year after. But hey! You get it forever!
Anyways you also have to manual scan, but it isn’t a resourse hog and it scans everything your computer writes and reads as well as internet sites and emails. I love it. As well they update it about every day!
It found several viruses after I deleted Norton 360 and has found several since.

Step 2.
As well try downloading malwarebytes anti-malware, updating, and scanning.
MBAM redirects you here for download. (MBAM) Go here to download: http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant...
Step 3.
Proceed by downloading "SuperAntiSpyware Free" from the link below (As the title suggests, this is also free), follow any
instructions required to install it, update the virus definitions, then run a full scan, also clean any infections found
after the scan has completed.

Step 4.
You may also consider to be sure that all Malware has been removed from your system download “Kaspersky’s Virus Removal Tool" (Free) from the link
below and run a full scan, this will already be updated to the day you download and install it, after the scan clean any
infections found. download here

Step 5.
Consider doing a scan of your computer with MBAM and superantispyware every 2-4 weeks with a maximum of a system scan every month. (I recommend 2-3 weeks.)
P.S. make sure to unistall all other antivirus products before installing avast and never have more than one installed at a time.
Hope this helps and enjoy a better computer!
