I’ve used limewire before, but I just bought a new laptop and limewire doesn’t seem to want to download for some reason. So I was thinking of trying Frostwire. But since I heard that one is bad too for viruses and stuff, what SHOULD I use to download? I don’t want to pay for it though, I feel as if I’m out of options and should try installing Frostwire.
Why don’t you try µTorrent? µTorrent is the world’s most popular Bit Torrent client. Torrents are much safer for downloading music, movies, games, soft etc. than limeware or frostwire.

bittorrent is great for downloading large files like movies.
there’s many torrent search engines around, the most famous is piratebay (got on the news more than one). I use torrentz.com to find new torrents.
limewire sometimes will not work due to firewall, any security software, and something about ports.
