My computer shuts down when I play certain games and It has just recently started doing that. I have been playing these same games for months and believe the problem is coming from malicious software.

look mostly the shutting down is some thing relating to the power supply or to the overheating in the machine so chick the cooler on your macnine if not the reason so make system resotre to the day that before this falt but as i told you before this thing is mostly by the fans because is occure when you are running games or something heavy on the laptop….

that will do it all the time but as for the best, i won’t answer, just keep scanning for antispyware and virus’s. Every time this q is asked a can of worms opens. All i will say i use Norton’s 2008, it is an improvement over 2007 and am very pleased with it, as for a resource hog so is Vista.
Any good anti virus program is better than none at all. Try AVG as they have a free version and a paid version. You can also scan for free at Trend Micro.
Also, make sure you have all the latest windows updates if you are using Microsoft operating systems.
CCleaner is good to remove unnecessary "crap".

Use spybot for it is free and good, it also restores the setting of your computer that has been alternated by a virus. You can also use AVG free but I prefer you download the PRO Edition.
Do not download any anti viruses unless you know all merits or demerits.i sugesst you to download one anti virus,one spyware and adware protection software.
