I had tried to download some of the anti-virus programs with free trial but they just scanned my PC and later on offer their services and have to pay first before remedy. They are all the same so which one is worth paying for?

you should try EZ Anti virus. It allows you to monitor internet activity, you get no pop ups unless you allow them, you have mail guard, and many other security options. You can schedule scans automatically and it updates your virus definitions automatically. It will remove adware and prevent viruses from attacking because it asks you if you want to allow certain softwares to startup or not (also if you want them to access your internet). Use the yahoo anit-spy to check your computer for errors. Just google it or find it on your toolbar.

While some anti-virus programs might include an anti-spyware component, some don’t – they are two different things. Lavasoft AdAware Personal Edition SE is a free anti-spy program. If your anti-virus program doesn’t have that component, get it. If you don’t have an anti-viruse program, get AntiVir, also free.

Trend Micro or Norton Internet Security Deluxe is the best – I have too much junk on my computer for anything else!

A antivirus program does not remove adware or spyware. You need a antispy program. I highly recommend superantispyware.

hi, i recommand you to use firefox.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

firefox can edit which site/popup to block and unblock.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

    download firefox for free:

I used to recommend Adaware, then it was Spyware Nuker (I still love the guys that wrote that software), but today, I can’t recommend anything other that Microsoft Windows Defender.

Microsoft released this software about a year ago and called it the Anti-Spyware Beta. It has recently changed names to Windows Defender. It’s free, although I’ve heard rumors that they might start charging for it at some point.

    You can download it here…

It’s in it’s 2nd beta and is rock solid stable. It works very well. I haven’t had a spyware infection problem since I’ve been running it.
