This is what I use.
Anti-virus: Nod32 antivirus @ eset.com (paid subscription, active scanner)
Anti-spyware: Super antispyware (free, active scanner)
backup anti-malware (malware = malicious software) Mawarebytes anti-malware (free, does not have active scanner so it won’t conflict with antivirus)
Using these, along with using Firefox instead of IE, will go a long way towards keeping your computer malware free.
