There isn’t but one out there right now that’s doing as advertised. That’s Kaspersky internet security. I’m sure some dummy will recommend AVG or Avast or some other free junk. But if you really want internet security get Kaspersky. With XP you need at least one gig of memory. With Vista or Windows 7 you will need at least 2 gigs of memory. Make sure your computer is virus and bug free before you install it. If you do it will stay that way. They guarantee it.

Kaspersky is not like a free AV. It does have a learning curve. But once you get it and see for yourself how good it works you will not want nothing else. I’ve been using it almost 3 years without any infections at all. I can’t say that about any other AV. Free or otherwise.

AVG or Avira Antivir That’s what I have and it scans the whole computer and tells you when you get viruses and detections. Its really good I’m not sure where we got it. But you can try goggle and see if you can find that. Hope that helps
