What is a good free virus scan AND removal software? I always download things that are virus scans and removals but in order to actualy REMOVE the virus you have to BUY the software. I don’t want to BUY anything. I want my computer to be virus free ! Thanks for your help.

AVG free edition 7.5. Its very good and will remove.
I have a 100% free combination. First you want to get a free anti virus that is good well known. You might see others saying that you should get AVG anti virus or Antivira anti virus. First off, AVG has a detection rate of about 82.9% detection rate. Also Antivira antivirus isn’t even on the top ten list. Plus it does not have a better real-time protection system than Avast. Trust me I have been Working for Microsoft for years and Avasst is definetely better than AVG with a detection rate of 92.7%. The only known free antivirus that has a detection rate of 99.9% was AOL’s antivirus powered by Kaspersky. The only problem was, they only had it out for about a year, so they made a new deal with Mcafee. So now there antivirus is not as good as their old one was. Now you want an antispyware program that is free. You basically want several antispyware programs to make sure you get rid of all the crap. It is bad to have more than one Antivirus, but it is good to have more than one anti-spyware. My favoritre spyware removers are AVG Anti spyware , which detects a lot of unknown spyware. My other one is Spybot and Adaware, I reccomend you run them at the same time, it gets all the suckers trying to slip through the cracks. Then you want a free full time protection of antispyware. I reccomend Spyware Terminator. Also when Spyware Terminator asks you to dowbnload ClamAV say yes. I know I had said no, having more than one antivirus, but Clam AV is only a remover and nothing else, so it is ok to have it. Enjoy and say goodbye to SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on you computer
