Sure sounds like spyware or a virus.
Download, install and update and scan with the following free:
Ad-Aware 2008 from lavasoft.com
SUPERAntiSpyware from download.com
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware from download.com
I also suggest once everything is installed and updated that you also run all the scans in safe mode.
If you don’t have the latest version (8.0175) of AVG go to free.avg.com and download AVG Free … uninstall your corrupt version before installing the new one.
You can also go to housecall.trendmicro.com for a free online virus and spyware scan, which also cleans, but this takes a very long time.
Generally speaking once you get a virus there is no way to really remove it. They can simply disable your anti virus or make your anti-virus LOOK like it got rid of it. Also, virus’s generally aren’t malicious like that, so your problem may not be caused by a virus.
BUT it doesn’t hurt to check, you should try out AVG anti-virus. It’s free, and it should at least tell you if you have something.
Are you sure it’s a virus that you have? It’s possible your cd-rom drive may need replacing. Another possibility is that your IDE cable may have come loose or needs to be replaced. You can also try updating the driver as well as cleaning the lens.
Well first of all you need to be sure that its really a Virus affecting your CD-ROM.
You should check CD-ROM is properly connected or Driver is working properly in My Computer > Device Manager

If you are looking for a free solution then AVG Free is best for you.
You may also try Lavasoft’s Adaware for scanning such types of Scripts , Trojans and Spywares.
Please let know that is CD-ROM Drive is displaying in "My Computer" or not?
If you can’t solve problem at all then you most probably need to install your Operating System.
I suggest you try downloading spybot search and destroy.I had almost same problem and removed the virus.You can download it from here
