I just bought a laptop, after my PC crashed and waiting for repair…I had it fixed 2 time already, it was mostly from virus attacks. I really don’t want that to happen to my new laptop. I used to have Norton Online Protection, and Spy Sweeper. Please help 
well if you want to use a free and fast anti virus i really suggest Avira and Avast .
but these free anti viruses are not a complete security solution for a computer so you will need a anti maleware/spyware and a firewall .
i suggest Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware .
but if you want to pay for a whole security pack Kaspersky and Bitdefender are the bests in market .
i used both they are easy too use very trustful and they come with a good support .

I use Nortans Antivirus and i have have had spibot search and destroy, i recomend against having more than 1 anti virus as they start to compete with each other and slow your computer down (live updates constant scaning etc.) i hear there is a really good anti virus called Zone Alarm my friends all think that it is great. So look for Zone alarm on the internet.

You can buy some good anti virus software from the market if you want to spend some money. But there are very good free anti virus software on the net available.
You can try either the AVG free home edition or the Avast free edition. These are the best free antivirus software available. I have been using Avast for quite sometime now and there doesn’t seem to be a problem.
