Other good online scanners are:
http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/
and:
http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
As with all virus scanners, each one sometimes catches one or two things the other one misses. But they’re both pretty good. Trend used to require that, to use there online scan, you had to be using MS’s Internet Explorer…not sure if that’s still true or not.
Good luck!
Google "bitdefender on line scan" run an antivirus scan there, then go to http://www.ewido.net and run a spyware scan on line there also.
AVG is actually pretty good even though its free. If its not doing anything how do you know you have viruses? Go to AVG, do a secure scan, then if it finds anything, if you are sure about deleting them totally, go ahead. If not, move them to the vault to be careful. If that doesn’t work, Id recommend Avast, it can be found on download.com, its free, and a pretty good antivirus also. Good Luck =)
try online scan .
if not satisfied try spywareterminator its free to download and update visit http://www.spywareterminator.com for further info
Yes i have AVG to and i have a acer computer. weve had some viruses on theses all you have to do is press "heal" and also if you buy the avg for like 20.00 per year they will automatically delete. that is what i have. i recommed you do that. going to random websites with adware and spyware is not a good idea it will just lie to you and tell you that you have 548969486098 threats. also malware. stay out of it. get something that you kno will work. thats what happened to my last computer it just turned right off and never worked again. be careful and good luck!
Use
Avast antivirus and spybot search and destroy
Problem solved.
Download and run firefox to protect your computer from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ).Browser attacks aren’t easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn’t exhibit many obvious warning signs
