the other day i downloaded zango and by the end of the day a message came up saying my laptop was under treat and it said i had like over 500 trojans on, when i tryed to fix it with the virus program it tryed to get to pay like £50.00 for the virus program. i used my free virus program i had, adaware, but with a full computer scan it came up with very few virus’s and only a few trojans. i then tryed to download some other free programs, i downloaded treatfire which with a full system scan said i had no more virus’s and then pc tools antivirus which came up with hardly any, also i tryed AVG but that cam up with very few to. again another program personal antivirus did a scan and found trojans within seconds and found many many trojans but i had to pay money to be able to get rid of them. and things keep coming up from personal antivirus saying theres another trojan or worm and vulnerability highly critical and trojans are being downloaded, and it keeps coming up all the time that different trojans and worms are coming in but if i press block it just tries to get me to buy the program, i can’t delete this prgram as when i go on uninstall the program it isn’t there. i don’t understand why the free ones are coming up with very little but the ones you have to pay for come up with tonnes, i don’t know whether this is just one big scam, but the virus things i use do keep coming up with trojan found and foxed from time to time so that shows there is some on here. i just don’t know what to do, please help as i fear im just going to lose the use in my laptop completely
i would be eternally grateful for any help, and my email is chrisjennings91@hotmail.co.uk
thankyou

I suggest you run a scan with malwarebytes .
you can get malwarebytes here,
this is a direct download link
so you should have no trouble getting it.
click on this link ↓ and then select run.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/affiliates/2-spyware/mbam-setup.exe
INSTALL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP, update it,
then run a full scan and remove everything it finds.
some viruses will try to disable it
so if malwarebytes will not start up
then go into the folder it is in and rename the mbam file to XXXX
then double click on the file you just renamed to start it up.
after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
preferably in safe mode with networking.

Go to http://www.download.com and search for Spybot Search & Destroy. Download and install it. Then you search through the whole comp. Then you can remove the viruses.
It is very likely to be a rogue anti virus / anti malware, which mean that it tries to influence the user to buy their product by showing FAKE detections while in fact, the program does not scan at all and the program is not really a anti virus / anti malware program.
Just don’t buy it. Oh, another thing, you shouldn’t have downloaded zango since as far as i know, it is shipped with malwares / spywares. Try downloading MalwareBytes scanner at MalwareBytes.org or Spybot S&D at safer-networking.org, as both of them can detect rogue programs and other malwares.
Good luck
Additionally, check this out:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/zango.com
….it does say that zango is bad
ok it mite not accually be 500 trojans,it can be a pop up to get trojan,i get those once in a while,if they are nothing to worry about. But is your computer slower and laggy, if so than get a virus scan.go to malware.com,and dowlond(the free version) then do quick scan.
hope i helped
What you have "joke" popup.
To fix the problem in Vista, XP will similar in repair.
Click on window button > Click on Control Panel (Not in classic view) > Under Programs > Click Change startup programs > from the list look for some out of place that is not driver or startup of program you trust.
You can do a Yahoo or Google search on the file name to see if the file is virus or you can dump with out any problems.
Before you delete the file make a note of the file so you can deleted from the hard drive. You removed the file from starting up now open explore and remove from the hard drive. If you only have the file name just do a search on drive C. When found delete the file.
Now restart your computer and pop ups will be gone.
