Someone please help! I recently got a virus on my computer that causes multiple ad’s on several tabs in IE and Foxfire to pop up, by the time i close them more have appeared. I have downloaded every virus scanner i can find and nothing is helping! If anyone knows how I can get rid of this, please help!!
Its called a trojan generic12.aovj i believe. thats what AVG told me. I have tried to remove it through there but it keeps coming back!

I have this personal antivirus software that somehow ended up on my computer and I can’t seem to remove it. It does not show up in the add/remove programs. My PC got infected with Trojan fakealert and other virus just now. HELP!! Where can I get free download and remove these viruses? I tried to install Kaspersky the 30 days trial version, but during the installation process, it ask me to remove the McAfee siteadvisor 2008. But I can’t find and uninstall the siteadvisor thing in control panel > Programs > uninstall.
Most importantly, how to remove the virus?!!

Hey there, I have a little problem. Not too long ago I did virus scan ( I use norton anti virus and spy sweeper) Anyway, It turns out that I have a trojan called "Game pass" Info on it is that it steals game passwords and so on and so on. Problem is that it wont let remove the damn thing. Anyone have any solution as too how I can remove it? Thank you.
Had Win32/Heur virus , removed by using malwarebytes , super anti spyware , avg - in safe mode network. But trojan gone but have this site redirecting to survey site, or other false ones.
Have put on block list for now . But concerned and want to make sure i got rid of any issues. Malwarebytes comes up clean as well as "avg" ,& superantispyware. Any ideas?

I got a virus on my laptop that is driving me crazy! It has disabled my internet, Trend Micro Antivirus, and any other anti virus software I try to put on it. I have tried using the internet through my ethernet cable with out a result. I tried downloading a malware program on a different computer and then using a flash drive to put it on my laptop. Same thing happens as Trend Micro. NOTHING!
I ran my Webroot and it detected and quarantined trojan.agent.tdss
but at the end of the sweep my laptop preforms an emergency shut down.
I am at a loss of things to do!! Help! I would love not to have to buy a new laptop!
Is there some type of software (McAfee, Norton, Symantec, etc.) that you can buy to get rid of the Sheur2 trojan once and for all? As in it won’t reinstall itself after you reboot the computer…

Like when a spam email has a link and you click the link and it takes you to some pharmacy website. Is that more so just junk trying to get you to buy crap? Or is the link going to put spyware and virus on your computer? I use limited user account so I can’t download/run anything without first using my admin password.
so how does the trojan part work in spam? Wouldn’yt you have to download something?

I just got system error pop up everytime I just try open up a web site or program.. the msg as follow:

When I stupid enough click ok.,, A file download with security warning: it pop up a setup.exe file from 89.147.277.195

I’ve tried a AVG free and A Squared free but they don’t get rid of the ‘zlob’ virus. What are some cheap/FREE antivirus/anti-trojan software that are effective?(and I don’t mean "free scan" then you have to buy the software to get rid of infections..)… PLEASE help!!
i bought my laptop 6 mths ago from new, i stupidly used it on net without anti virus software now istalled norton and it says i have this trojan, i cannot connect to net wirelessly now and system restore won’t work, i don’t have a clue bout pc’s so what do i do? can i re-install windows to resolve everything?

This is my no.1 problem, how to remove trojan viruses? i try to download anti virus when i read "oh! its free, i hope this thing can help me to remove the virus." when i scan it, i click remove the viruses and it say’s that i need to register. when i register, oh god it needs a credit card. and i dont have ANY CREDIT CARD. the other day i downloaded zango and by the end of the day a message came up saying my laptop was under treat and it said i had like over 500 trojans on, when i tryed to fix it with the virus program it tryed to get to pay like £50.00 for the virus program. i used my free virus program i had, adaware, but with a full computer scan it came up with very few virus’s and only a few trojans. i then tryed to download some other free programs, i downloaded treatfire which with a full system scan said i had no more virus’s and then pc tools antivirus which came up with hardly any, also i tryed AVG but that cam up with very few to. again another program personal antivirus did a scan and found trojans within seconds and found many many trojans but i had to pay money to be able to get rid of them. and things keep coming up from personal antivirus saying theres another trojan or worm and vulnerability highly critical and trojans are being downloaded, and it keeps coming up all the time that different trojans and worms are coming in but if i press block it just tries to get me to buy the program, i can’t delete this prgram as when i go on uninstall the program it isn’t there. i don’t understand why the free ones are coming up with very little but the ones you have to pay for come up with tonnes, i don’t know whether this is just one big scam, but the virus things i use do keep coming up with trojan found and foxed from time to time so that shows there is some on here. i just don’t know what to do, please help as i fear im just going to lose the use in my laptop completely

I was recently swarmed with a severe malware oriented virus that no matter how many spyware/antivirus oriented programs/software I bought like Norton Antivirus (which I was told for 80 bucks is crap) but I guess I went with the old adage I get what I pay for and then I bought Trend Micro (was also told by the best buy sales associate that it rivals NAV) but it still didn’t help. So I pretty much stripped the 5 year old HP Pavilion desktop that I had back to factory settings, knock on wood the icons are ridiculously HUGE but its been 3days and I haven’t had a whiff of pop up/spyware crap come my way (yet), though my Windows XP was restored to factory settings.
So what can I install on this system so I don’t end up with another Vundo/malware oriented Trojan. I don’t want to install my NAV Antisecuirty software pacakage b/c I was told it was crap & now I can’t seem to trust the generic TrendMicro, so now what do I install so this computer combats any/all update troublesome viruses Thnx
Everytime i get on the internet i get a pop-up that says something like "warning your computer is infected..please click ok for a free online scan". I also get tons of other pop-ups. I’ve downloaded numerous software & tried all kinds of scans but none of them are completely getting rid of the virus. Some of the scans I run always find something called a trojan.agent & trojan virtimode….whatever they are…but they never delete them. Please help!
Hey everyone, I really need some help!! I don’t know much about computers (not good for the field im in) and my computers recently been infected with this Alpha Anti virus. I found the software on PC Tools to remove it, but I am scared to purchase the software in fear that the virus will obtain my credit card information. When the software scanned my computer, I saw that the virus had what i believe to be a Trojan key stroke attachment? Which i believe tracks your info. the purchase would be done on a secure site, and should eliminate my problem. I just don’t wanna screw myself. Thanks in advance
