I was searching for some pictures on google image search until I saw a really scandalous celebrity image. In a fit of curiosity, I clicked on it and it redirected me to a porn site. I quickly stopped running javascript, went back to the previous screen and deleted my history. I’m worried though, that maybe my playstation got a virus/spyware? It hasn’t been acting strange, but I’m still concerned. How do I find out? Is there any way I can run a spyware/virus check? Is there anti-spyware/anti-virus software I can get anywhere? (I update my Ps3 regularly-would I have downloaded the Trend-Micro anti-virus automatically? – I bought the playstation last month). Thanks
I run windows vista, another user on my pc let a unknown program run from a porn site and it installed itself on my pc. It runs on the toolbar and constantly alerts me I have a security problem. I scanned my pc via mcafee 3 user already installed. mcafee says no problem with pc. windows defender also scanned same results. why is this red x still running on my toolbar? someone plz help!!
This pop-up infiltrated my pc from a porn site and I cannot find anyway to get rid of it. I’ve done a disk clean-up and a search through the "Add or Remove Programs" list and device manager list with no postive results. It is bugging the @#$%^ out of me! My TrendMicroPC-Cillin anti_virus/anti-adware software does not detect it.
