As a young adolescent we all know we kind of do things and go on stuff we really shouldn’t go on. But we do anyways, to fulfill our "needs" if you know what I mean.
Anyways, thank God I use my very own computer and it is not shared, because tonight I got soooo much spyware and a bunch of other crap (viruses, malicious stuff) from sites that I do not want my parents to find. How can I remove this stuff (free of charge) completely so that it is not found? And also get rid of whatever is in my browser like Trojans and all that.
I use AVG Free and Ad Aware 2007 right now and AdAware removed like 133 traces, AVG just found one (scanning now.)

Oh and how can I prevent spyware etc. from entering my system?
AVG ALWAYS tells me if there is a threat detected and it will remove it under my command.
My desktop computer is infected with spyware. It has this Total Security 2009 installed on it and i never put it on there. I have Norton 360 on the computer & I can’t open it because it’s infected. There isn’t much that I can open because everything is basically infected. I can open my internet explorer but that’s basically it. I can’t even start up in safe mode. My parents bought a new virus and spyware protection for the computer but it’s not installing. Anyone know of anything I can do?
If my computer gets a virus without antivirus, can i buy onr while the virus is there?? Will it get rid of?

it got a virus
so i got norton the one my laptop came with but it said it expired
so i cant use anything on my laptop cuz its infected
can i buy an anti virus and install it???
will it still kill the virus even though it was installed after i got the antivirus
im kind of nervous too because everytime i open a file it doesnt open
and i think it will do the same to my antivirus i will install
any cheap ones u guys no of bcuz im just a kid
and i dont want my parents to get mad cuz they will be rlly pissed off

I’m looking to buy a laptop under 0, hopefully a Mac, slightly used or new, with capacity for Photoshop CS3 and a decent amount of memory. I’m a senior in highschool and my computer has basically crashed due to the WIndows XP AntiVirus 2008 Virus, and I’ve tried at least twenty different methods of getting the virus off and nothing seems to work.
I’ve resorted to just buying a laptop, but it definitely needs to be able to hold Photoshop.
Any ideas?

Thank you for the advice– I was originally just going to get it wiped clean, but my parents were saying it would cost somewhere around 0. From what you’re saying, though, it should cost about 0 and save me a lot of trouble.

My parents apparently guilty because of the whole divorce thing have agreed to buy me a laptop that would be used for mainly school, entertainment purposes (music, photos, SIMS 2?) and just internet
I was thinking about the Dell 1420 because I thought it was cheaper but on dell.com it takes FOREVER to ship and was leaning just toward the Hp tablet one i can pick up in the store.

ON LAST THING
with a virus blocker, does limewire ef up any (specifically that hp tablet) system and slow it down alot because itunes is a ripoff

I’m going to be a senior in high school this fall and for Christmas my parents are going to buy me a laptop to use for college. I realize that Christmas is five months away, but I want to make a very informed decision, because I will be using it throughout all of college.
My family owns a Dell PC desktop, so I am most familiar with PCs (my school uses them also), but I have used Macs before and they don’t seem too much different or very difficult. I am going to school for communications / media studies and I’ve read that Macs are better for editing videos and whatnot and I’ve also heard that they get less viruses. Most universities that I am considering have a higher percentage of PCs on campus as opposed to Macs, and Macs are more expensive. However, I don’t mind paying more if I’m getting more. Which one is better?
I should also add that my parents are paying up to 0 for the laptop. If it’s more than that, I have to pay for the rest. That is why I’m concerned with cost even though it’s a gift.
I just bought a laptop and well…since it’s my first laptop I really have no clue what to do.
I don’t have virus protection yet, but I do have a 60 day trial and all that good stuff when you buy a new laptop. The parents want me to buy all the stuff I need first….Microsoft office word etc. and virus protection, a bag…and so on.
Also…how do I get internet outside of my house? wireless cards and such?
I’m kind of a neurotic and clueless at the moment about what to do. I don’t want to mess anything up.
As you all can see the question. My neighbors kid used my laptop, went to some website, caught some kind of virus which deleted and corrupted all my files and everything. Now i am so angry about it, that i want to sue his parents for letting him come to my house and damaging my property. The laptop costed me 0 dollars and in this time i cannot afford another laptop since i have no job . Please give your best advice to solve my problem. Should i sue or threat his parents to buy for me a new laptop ?
( And yes my anti- virus got expired )
Should I save money to buy an iPod or a Mac Laptop first? I am 15 years old, but next year I will be attended community college because I already have my high school credits. My parents have a home computer, but its slowly dying because of Viruses. I don’t have a job, but I used to so I have managed to save money, so should I keep saving for the Mac or go ahead and buy the iPod since I already have the money. I have really been wanting an iPod, but when my parents said they don’t want us (the kids) on the computer because of viruses…that kind of distorted my plan a bit. Any suggestions???

im going to go shopping for a laptop..and my last one got a virus and then got dropped so i wanted to get a mac, and i was wondering should i feel gulity for even asking them to buy me an expensive mac in my junior year of high school..should i not ask them for one or wat? they always buy me wat ever i want….and i get better grades than any of my other siblings….and im going to use it for school work….but this year i have 3 C’s and 3 A’s so..idk i feel guilty…. should i feel guilty?
oh yea i not only get good grades i never hurt my mom and dad in any other way possible im islamic and i listen to wat my parents tell me and etc.
