I bought a new laptop from best-buy 2 months back. The laptop came with 60 days free anti-virus from norton anti-virus. I just had my subscription expired a day back. Should i continue with norton or are there any other cheap but better anti-virus out there in the market.

I bought a new HP laptop with pre installed anti virus of Norton for 2 months.
My bro has a Norton Anti virus CD which he has used on his laptop, Can /& Should I use that CD on my laptop before the 2 months end.

I have this personal anti-virus thing that keeps telling me I have a virus on my laptop. however when I do a full scan on my laptop using Norton anti-virus and Microsoft anti-virus it tells me no virus are found. So is this a Fake program meant to scare me into buying something that I don’t need.
My pc came with norton anti-virus Norton Internet Security 2007. I would like to remove it since subscription is up and install AVG instead. However, I have heard that removing Norton can crash a pc. Any suggestions on how to do this without harming pc?
i am planning to buy anti virus software since i have these virus, spyware and adware problems a lot. my friens suggest me to go for NORTON ANTI VIRUS or for EWIDO ANTI MALWARE. please suggest me which is the best. or would it be better if i go for some other software.
if i go for norton would NORTON ANTI VIRUS 2006 be better or NORTON INTERNET SECUTITY would be better. (i am a student so remember the price)

The removal tool says it has been removed but Norton Anti Virus says it is still there. The Alert screen cannot be closed.
I have a computer that has Norton Anti virus software already installed. I will only be using that computer for term papers, photos, etc. and will not connect it to the internet. I have another PC already connected. So should I uninstall the anti virus software?
i keep getting these stupid pop ups. i have pop up blacker and all but it doesnt stop them. i also have spy bot, norton anti virus, and mcafee, trying to detect this virus, but they all say my computer is clean. i know for sure i have this virus. how can i get rid of it?
When I scanned it with Norton Anti-virus it said that it has a virus and needs to reboot the computer to finalize the deletion of the virus. So I reboot my computer with the flash drive still connected to it but it gets stuck at the starting screen. So I take it off and turn on my computer and re-connect the flash drive the virus is still there. What can I do to remove it? I have important school work on it.
