-I was using my laptpo today for about 10 minutes, then it began to freeze so I didn’t do anything. Then when it "recovered", my desktop looked like this: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc257/qweenzfinez/desktop.jpg
-Since I’ve had this laptop (Christmas ’08), I never could do a System Restore. I’v tried, but it wouldn’t even open the System Restore window.
-I usually use Opera as my Web Browser, but since today, I can’t even open it.
-All I’m able to use is Windows Internet Explorer,and at the top of amost every web page,it infoms me that I have ’18 Trojans on my machine’. Look: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc257/qweenzfinez/internet.jpg
-When I try to click on the link that’s @ the top of the pages, a little info box pops up informing me that "Your current security settings does not allow this file to download." (FYI: I never agreed to download anything)
-I KNOW for a FACT that I have Java Script enabled and everything, but for some reason, it’s telling me that because of my Internet Options, I can’t install the program.
-I can’t even see the images online.
-I’ve called ASUS (the company who made the laptop) & I keep getting a busy signal.
-I don’t know what number to call for Microsoft.
-I have ASUS EEE PC1000HD with Microsoft XP Home Edition.
-My laptop is very tiny, it doesn’t even have a CD slo or anything.
If anyone can help me i ANY way,I would really appreciate it.

I literally cried when my laptop said it has a virus.
I’ll TRY to buy ny programs or whatever.
I don’t have much money (I’m only 16) to buy anti-virus software, but I’ll save for it if I have to.

when i click on internet explore it is sending me to a buy spyware page. it also has added 2 little sheilds on my tool bar. i have trieds to reset my home page in internet options. i have tries to right click and delete them, i’ve tryed to look in add and remove programs??? what do i do. i dontr have a virus cause i have ran that. this same thing happened to me on my lap top. i watch alot of movies so is it possible for it to have been trapped in one of those. somebody help me!!
My PC has got a typical virus. Please help me get it removed. In the Internet Options in the control panel, I have put http://www.yahoo.com as the default site, which should open whenever I click on IE6 or IE7 icon. But on my PC a site by the name http://www.asecureboard.com appears whenever I hit IE6. This is strange because under Internet Options the default site still is the same that is http://www.yahoo.com
In addiition to the above, when I try to change the web site from this httpL//www.asecureboard.com site by choosing a new address from the memory available on the drop down feature of the address bar, the site changes as per chosen option except when I choose http://www.yahoo.com. The screen remains static on site http://www.asecureboard.com if I choose yahoo site. Please seek any more clarification from me if that is required to solve my problem. I am having Norton Anti Virus software always live on my PC/
This spyware is not allowing me to go to the site http://www.download.com
