Now i asked the geek squad or technicians in best buy and he told me that there is some super fetch thing in new computers so he said it will be abt a month for my laptop to get use to what I do i.e i work on multiple explorers(5-8)and couple spreadsheets. NOW i don’t what should I do? will it really make or real fast after a month or so, but what it don’t.
SHOULD I WAIT OR SHOULD i RETURN AND GET SOME ELSE, COS I CANNOT RETURN AFTER 14 DAYS ARE OVER. please HELP TO MAKE TO MAKE A DECISION.
And if i should return it what kind i should and with what specification.
Be free to be subjective and tell in detail whats going on.
internrt explorer/ fire fox does take time but not really long time. Point is that my 1gb ram take same or almost same time . and I was expecting that 4gb would be real fast.
and I dont want to buy anything expensive than this cos those are for gamers of artists ..but all i need to open multiple explorers fast.
I also installed kaprasky anti-virus but was told it does not make computer slow as compared other anti-viruses in the market.

I want to buy a laptop for pretty much everyday use. I don’t care if it’s Mac or PC. Mac I know is more expensive, but less virus prone. Right know I’m looking at HP and Dell. Dell I know has awful customer support. I’ve also heard names such as Acer, Toshiba and Gateway. I’m kind of skeptical about Gateway. All I know is that I want
-A webcam
-Windows Word (not Works Word Processor)
-PowerPoint
-An average speed (currently looking at Intel Core 2 Duo)
-Be able to multi-task (music, internet, type all at once)
-would like, (but don’t need) Cd/dvd burner
-Wi-Fi (don’t need broadband)
-Would prefer <,000
-No more than ,500
-Needs to last about 4-yrs
-Needs to work!!!!!

I’ve been facing that problem since my first pc until this 4th pc. There are no virus, spyware, malware, adware.. I edy remove some startup program in msconfig, run defrag and yet tat still cant slove my problem. My laptop has intel core 2 duo 1.6ghz and 2gb ram with vista home premium. Can i noe why every of my pc’s booting speed always become slower after using it for a period.
Hi, I’m going to Illinois Institute of Technology next year. I’m going to specialize in the aerospace engineering program, so I’m going to need programs like Auto-CAD and other large software programs (how much does Auto-CAD take up anyway?). And I suppose I’ll be doing presentations and stuff like that in the near future.
On a personal note, I want a laptop that I can use to burn cds and dvds, handle torrents of downloads, store a LOT of pictures, and watch movies from the internet and DVDs in great, crisp picture quality. I know that the Intel Core 2 Duo is the best right now, but what kind of processor do I NEED for all my stuff? What is the best processor speed, lb cache, etc.? Should I get an Intel 4500 MD graphics card or something better? What is the best sized hard drive for everything I want to do? And last question: is it better to buy a configured laptop online with things like microsoft office pre-installed, or is it better to buy my laptop from the store and buy ms office/ anti-virus separately?
I appreciate any and all help I receive for my questions.
