i want a antivirus with a free scanner and that erases and that erases every virus by installing it instead of buying it?( one that you cannot put and registration keys and that you dont have to buy it in a store just ready for me to download)
I read some negative reviews about iolo antivirus. I have avira free which is good, but I’d like to get my money’s worth with this iolo package deal.
So recently i had to reformat my hard drive and i lost spyware doctor. Even though it was paid for and i can use the serial one more time i want to know if there are any other antivirus/antispyware softwares which may be better.
If so please tell me!

oky so the other day i was checking my email then i got one from myspace saying that i got a message from some people. then one of the message said something like "i cant believe u did this" or it said something bout getting caught doing something & it had a link. i clicked on it. & it kinda looked like youtube, so i was waiting for it to load, then something said i needed adobe 10, i was bout to install & stuff until i notice it said YUOtube, NOT YOUtube. so i exited it out. then it said my comp detected a virus. so i didnt know what to do, so i started a scan from notron antivirus, then when it was done scanning it found 2 THREATS, but idk wat to do after that & now something keeps popping up from notron antivirus saying to renew & i try to but it asks for a subscription update thing & IDK WAT IT IS D: . so iidk wat to do now. & if i restart my comp, it gets to a screen where’s its all black & at the left right hand corner has like a little blinking bar. (its not from a virus, its been like that this is like 4th yr having this laptop. & i have to turn it off. then push the power button to ‘restart it’. & since then i keep getting these pop ups bout having a virus, & it said something bout a virus on my laptop, but i noticed it was from the internet, internet EXPLORER, & i dont use that, i use mozilla firefox 3.5 . & i tried uninstalling internet explorer but i cant find the thing to unstall it anywhere on my comp! help!
my comp has recently been somewhat fixed, & ive been playing on my dad’s comp when my laptop was jacked. & i had my laptop since i was 9-10 now im 13 turning 14 in july. :/ idkk wat to do now. & i dont want to buy anything to install.
Mitchell, i know who to remove programs, but when i go there, its not on there. that’s the prob. & these stupiid pop ups are annoying & its always from internet explorer.
& Kayla, a couple HUNDRED?? i dont have that kind of money just to get rid of a virus, & my parents JUST got my laptop fixed for like 200 something. & ppl’s laying off everywhere & my parent’s work place is one of them.
I have an e-machine I bought in 2006.

My antivirus caught it but cannot for some reason quarantine it because it is in my memory, it’s crazy. Any advice would be helpful?
I have a new pc with this operating system Compaq, 1,024MB; 120GB La pc asks me to install antivirus, and the software programas (word, excell, etc) to continue working. I know that the programs are kind of expensive, should I buy them? What do you think of the Windows Vista operating system? Thanks
The antivrus program wasn’t working for whatever reason, now they told me in order to run an antivirus, they first need to remove them all at a cost of >0. Is there a program I can run myself to rid the PC of virus’ already there?

if we download or install an antivirus after the pc has been affected by virus, will the virus get stored again while scanning files?

So i just bought a laptop for my computer and i wanted to know is there any way (tricks, downloads, help?) that i can keep it after the 60 day trials?
I really want to keep using this version of office because my home computer had it already installed on it and there’s no CD to use to put it on my laptop.
As for the antivirus, it’ll help keep those pesky ad aware and spyware viruses gone

Hi, I have a virus called vundo trojan. I use symantec antivirus but it can’t detect or delete this virus. I tried VundoFix.exe but it couldn’t removed the whole virus. I used malwarebytes and it removed it all. The next day I did a scan and the virus was back on my computer. If anyone knows a good method to delete this virus it would be nice. I tried Kaspersky and Bitdefender but my symantec dosen’t seem to like it. I need help please!

I Think My School Laptop Has A Virus?
Ok So im using my school computer at home because my laptop is being fixed because i had a rootkit infestation on my computer
So anyway i brought it home and downloaded STOPzilla on it
Now it looked really dodgey but i was told to (not by my teacher)
So anyway since then i have been having a problem with the internet
a load of pictures have been coming up just as a Mc Afee Symbol and the advertisments on bebo come up as a meebo chatroom where im talking to real people i kno
im really confused and dont know what to do
they bought really expensive laptops with no expensive anti virus programs! they put on the mcafee FREE TRIAL!!!!
So i cant download any software and i havnt got a reliable anti virus (unless you could Clamwin) what should i do?
Without breaking the computer this is the last one left
15 stolen from my school on thursday night
its a big school but there were only 16 laptops
so i really need to keep this safe and working

I have tried a few different antivirus and antispyware programs, and nothing works. How do I wipe the hard drive, or restore to preinfection status?
I have 2 viruses that my Anti-Virus(Webroot Antivirus with AntiSpyware) protection can not delete. There called Trojan/Virtum-Gen and Mal/Emogen-K. I tryed searching a way in how to remove them but what i think the effect on one of them is that every time i search something on any search engine about a virus it brings this advertisement page up. Another effect that occurs is that it will not allow me how to access to control panel. It always says Your system Administrator has disabled the control panel.
I dont think I have any antivirus or firewall software installed now on my main comp and its running just fine…but the associate at bestbuy told me I should buy the antivirus package… Do i REALLY need it or is he just trying to boost his commission??….

My pen drive has a virus of "rahul the Hacker web net.com’". Even if I open yahoo, google etc. it appears automatically on the top of the tool bar. How to remove the same from the system as well from the pen drive?

It keeps saying i have many applications using spyware but i have cox security. is this a virus that i can get rid of with mcafe? thanks
i have a spyware program it gets rid of them but when i scan again they are there again. then in the bottom right hand corner it says i have a virus and what not.
