I started this blog after I got so mad of myself and the world.
I paid this "computer expert" a $100 to fix my computer after
it got a virus. Everything was ok for a week and then I got
another virus - I didnt have the money to pay that guy again
or to buy all these big companies software that cost just as much.
I had to find a good anti virus product
that i could afford.
Luckily I stumbled on this great forum where I read many
recommendations about full-antivirus-safety.com.
So I decided to open a site and help out women like me that got a virus on their computer
and dont want to spend too much
money on an anti virus program. So I got my friend to help
me and her insisted that I will also mention CA antivirus since thats the best software he
has used since he got his first computer in 1998.

After I bought a new laptop I would use surfthechannel.com to watch shows & movies on my old one. About 4 months ago I think I got the virus Anti-virus 2009. My security page showed 100 threats detected, download this now for protection, & when I clicked to "X" it didnt close. I read about it online & was told to use Malwarebytes & I did. It did get rid of it, I think. Now it came back. Its only about once a week that it pops up, but I updated & ran Malwarebytes again & it still returns. I also ran AVG security scan, Spybot scan, & CCleaner. No threats were detected. I also get a Windows message saying " Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page" when I dont click anything. Advertisements always run in the back ground too. How can I get rid of it for good? & Is there a site that I can send a list of my registry to see if everything on there is ok? I know a little about computers but I can follow directions well. I only used my laptop for papers & browsing. I never download, burn CD’s, or play games. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5002WLCi series. AMD Turion 64ML-30 processor, 60GB HDD, 512MB DDR, 802.11b/g wireless LAN. (whatever that stuff means). Spyware Doctor may be a real program, but if there is, then there is also a fake Spyware Doctor that will give you a HORRIBLE virus that will completely destroy your computer! The best way to get rid of it is a program called UnHackMe. This program is not a virus, I guarantee it. Malwarebytes is also a great tool to help remove it as well. What happens is you may have advertisements playing in the background, you may lose part of the start menu, you may not be able to access your C drive, you may not be able to access the control panel depending on how infected you are.Click Start->Connect To->Show all Connections and Control Panel should be on the left. Create a new account with administrative privileges and download UnHackMe and Malwarebytes. Move them to a folder you can access on the other account. Log back on the infected account and run UnHackMe. Restart whenever necessary and remove only what it views as a "Bad" program. When your finished removing them all, run malwarebytes and you computer should be back to its normal state.
This is for all those people who have this bad virus in the future, however if you have a better way to fix this virus you can answer the question with that way. This will also remove most other viruses infecting your computer including any Instant Messenger viruses. Enjoy =-)
