I’m a design student and on a budget. I really like macs and I use them all the time a school. This computer has all of the software I’ll need and it looks like it could be a really great buy. I’m just not sure I want to sacrifice the mobility of a laptop for a desktop. Plus, there is no warranty.
The HP PC I’m looking at is really nice. It’s ,000 and would be able to do what I want it to, but I would have to purchase the Adobe Creative Suite (which won’t be too bad since I can get it for 0 with the student discount). Also, I really don’t want to deal with viruses. My Toshiba got hit this past March and I had to completely wipe the hard drive and re-install xp to even get things up and running again.
Here’s the link to the HP:

What would you do? I’m not sure. Thanks for your input.

As much as I like Macs (and I do), go with the laptop and just don’t download things unless you know what they are. The mobility is worth it.
I found this one: http://www.techawave.com/techawave/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=542349
