no, their is no way to protect viruses from limewire but they are easy to delect since you already know what you downloaded and were the virus is just delete the file and empty your recycle bin. the reason you can’t protect viruses from limewire is because when you first download limewire the firewall asks you if you want to allow limewire into your system which you have to allow or else you couldnt use limewire.
but if you want use a safe type of limewire: 1st get limewire and click progames and type in limewire pro then download limewire pro which is easyer and fast and virus free. ever since a got the PRO i havent goten virures.

a. having a firewall
b. having UPDATED antivirus
c. Having a antispiware software
d. USE the above
