		<description>I had this problem with my old HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop.  There could be some causes of this problem:

#1: 
If you have eset smart security (any version) there is a bug where it will disable ALL wireless services (internet, printers, etc.)

#2: 
Just because you have anti-virus doesn&#039;t mean your protected.  Anti-virus is very unreliable, (at most there is a 20% chance of your anti-virus detecting a virus in a file).  You could have picked up a virus somewhere that disables your internet

You will have to take your laptop somewhere to be fixed, you have do this and there is no alternative.  In many places they will do it for free.  Hope this helps!
