sounds like antivirus 2009 – run either spybot search and destry or malwarebytes – both are free and should get rid of it for you
Yes, it is a scam. Install legitimate anti-virus (Avira Antivir) and anti-spyware (Spybot S&D) software and run it to get rid of the spywar.e
Can you be more specific about the message? What exactly does it say? And what kind of firewall or antivirus software are you using? Have you bought the software or is it an illegal copy?
Hi,
please do this :-
you have a really bad virus and the only thing to kill it is "Mailwarebytes", some times this virus blocks anti-virus sites so download it using another system on to a Flash drive then use the flash drive to install it onto the infected system, then reboot and press F8 as it boots up, this will take you into safe mode, then run a FULL scan of your system.
this will clear your system of this virus.

This is also one of the best free anti-spyware programs; again always run your anti-virus software in “Safe Mode” on full scan.

This will all help you and are completely FREE downloads.
this will help you, and NO you system is not being hacked.
Combofix will get rid of that and it’s a small download and freeware. I had the same problem myself.

definitely malwarebytes, http://www.malwarebytes.org
but also rouge remover, from the people who made malwarebytes, for rouge AV’s
Rogue Antivirus
Google [the name of the rouge antivirus] removal
Watch out, there are also some websites that are also scams.
Bleepingcomputer is okay.
Use Mailwarebytes it will take it off
Scam, Trojan, Malware.
What OS and someone can maybe help you better.
I am guessing it is windows, (98% of online PCs are Windows)
I am using Linux, it is NOT virus free, yet I have never gotten a virus in three years now.
Ubuntu is a good one, it makes a smooth transition from windows, and is supported better than what you paid $300+ for.
That is not micrsoft bashing, or flameing. it is the fact. Debian is stable and user friendly, Ubuntu is great for any that are tired of paying every year for this or that program to defend against this or that program that makes this or that program fail to work anymore.
Now here is what you do, boot into safe mode,oh heck, here is the link from Microsoft.
Please note the second link, also from Microsoft, it explains or talks about making backups, do that and have fun.
