my computer comes up with errors that link to spyware “buy me to protect” sites. how do i stop this?
i also keep finding trojan viruses on my comp. im using avg for viruses and spybot - search and destroy for spyware and adware. every couple of weeks trojan horse virus comes back, but the links to virus control sites is a new one today
it is set to block pop ups. however i use mozilla but in IE theres a security toolbar that is in all the pop ups

reboot the computer in Safe Mode. Then run avg on your entire hard disk. After it has completed reboot again in safe mode and run spybot for full scan on your hard disk.

i had the same problem i had those same programs too
then i came to norton internet security
2007 it has the strongest fighting defence ever the military even uses it
but try safe mode press one of the "F" buttons - f1 f2 f3 one of those brings you to safe mode then your screen will look real crapy then open only the programs you need and they should go
get a really good virus software like Norton Internet security and so a full scan. Then if that doesn’t solve the problem then you will have to reset the computer using a reboot disk. that is the last option in which you will lose your important files. i wouldn’t back them up because the viruses/trojans might stick on.
You can set your computer to block pop-ups. That iwill eliminate this. Buy a good program like Norton to wipe out viruses.
