So i want to use Limewire right but not on my laptop or my moms computer, so i was wondering if i should buy a used and cheap tower and monitor and just use that for limewire so i dont get any viruses on my laptop or computer, oh and i dont care if i get viruses on the cheap computer. Do U think this is a good or bad idea and if u believe its a good idea r there any places that sell used/old computers for really cheap.

it depends on how cheap. You could do that or you could spend money on a mac (they don’t really get any viruses). I use frostwire though, which is supposedly safer. You could try that too i guess. good luck and God bless:)

It’s not a good idea because even if its cheap you will still probably spend $1,000 for everything you need and limewire isn’t even that good, and plus you could get caught and have to pay a huge fine.

Well if you really wanted a computer that is meant for that task then that’s not a bad idea. But when the time comes don’t be crying over a spilled milk. Here this site might also help to at least keep it alive from virus attacks. Also if you are going to network it together with yours and your mom’s PC then I advices you that you that keep the antivrus and firewalls tightly secured. http://www.systemsecurityinstitute.org/
