Based on my past experience with it no it’s horrible serious it sticks inside the Windows registry like an octopus with many tentacles and eats system resources.

I bought Norton Anti Virus once and it was a disaster. However it looks like you are doing fine with it so there is no reason to change unless you want to save a bit of money. If you do then you should look at the free ones, I have used AVG and Avast, both were brilliant for me.

The current best one are NOD 32, which can detects most virus with less false alarm.

The second best are Avira antivirus, which can detects most virus too but sometimes have some false alarm.

NOD32 have trial period for 30 days
Avira have free and non free version

I don’t really know too much about Norton, but what I can tell you is that I have two computers. One has Norton and one doesn’t. The one that doesn’t have Norton hardly works. Everytime I try to do something on the computer I get errors which make the computer shut down. I computer that has Norton works great!! So in my opion i like Norton so far!!

Im not sure about norton mate but if you want to try some more out then try AVG free as that is what i use and i think it does a top job.

In my opinion there is no "best", each anti-virus has a flaw here or there. Norton is pretty good but i recommend using Avast, its free, simple to use and keeps my computer clean
