Hey everyone, I really need some help!! I don’t know much about computers (not good for the field im in) and my computers recently been infected with this Alpha Anti virus. I found the software on PC Tools to remove it, but I am scared to purchase the software in fear that the virus will obtain my credit card information. When the software scanned my computer, I saw that the virus had what i believe to be a Trojan key stroke attachment? Which i believe tracks your info. the purchase would be done on a secure site, and should eliminate my problem. I just don’t wanna screw myself. Thanks in advance

spyware/malware is hard to be found and unistall by the common antivirus software,so i recommend you install a anti-spyware software, but not the common anti-virus software,it can record everything what happpened on your computer, including e-mails, websites visited, applications executed, and keystrokes including username-password, online conversations (G-mail, MSN, Hotmail, Yahoo Messenger etc.) and other similar activities.so it bring dangerous for u.

alpha antivirus doesn’t steal information, but since you got alpha anti virus on you pc there’s a huge chance of other malware residing there as well. and that other malware may be able to steal or logins. you can delete alpha antivirus manually: http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-alpha-antivirus-alpha-anti-virus-removal-help.html this way you don’t have to buy remover.

I personally don’t pay for antivirus programs. The ones that are good are AVG, Avira, and Avast. Download a minimum of AVG and Avira and run scans. (They’re both excellent)

If you are afraid to enter your info due to keystroke recorders, it’s possible that you could call the company to send you a physical CD. Or you could order from another computer and burn it to a USB or CD.

Follow the advice of "Double R", and use the free procedure from the guys over at Bleepin’.

It is doubtful that any PC Tools software will be able to remove that Alpha crap…PC Tools software is mostly a lot of slick advertising. All sizzle and little substance.

It is never safe to make ANY online purchase with ANY infected computer. You never know what payload the malware is carrying.

A secure site only means that the internet connection BETWEEN your machine and the hosting computer is secure and encrypted. It does NOT mean that your data cannot be compromised before the data is even sent along the "pipes" of the internet.

Besides there is plenty of good free and legal freeware and shareware availible to home users.
