I’ve been alerted by my computer that I have 22 virus’s on my computer (no I don’t visit porn sites and crap like that, my friends already asked that question) I currenly have the antivirus software Avast! but it’s not exactly getting rid of all of my virus’s. I cannot buy any actual software so does anyone know a really good free anti-virus that I can instal to fix my computer?

I use Avast now, I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

I suggest you run a scan with malwarebytes .
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

    you can get malwarebytes here,
this is a direct download link
so you should have no trouble getting it.
click on this link ↓ and then select run.
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/affiliates/2-spyware/mbam-setup.exe
INSTALL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP, update it,
then run a full scan and remove everything it finds.

some viruses will try to disable it
so if malwarebytes will not start up
    save it to your desktop,
before you save Malwarebytes’, rename it to something like XXXX.exe and then click on Save and save it to your desktop. Same thing after you install it. Before running it, rename the main executable file first

if it still will not install,
Right-click on the mbam-setup.exe file and change the .exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run.

If after installation, MBAM will not run, open the Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware folder in Program Files, right-click on mbam.exe and change the .exe as noted above. Then double-click on it to run..

after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.

preferably in safe mode with networking.

    ☼good luck.

Different programs work for different purposes. Malwarebytes Anti-malware is a tool I’ve come to like a lot. It works well at discovering the infections I have received time to time on my computer. I also use AVG, which works pretty well also. How well each of these works on your computer really depends on what type of infections you have.

Restart your computer, press F8 repeatedly, go into "safe mode with networking", download superanti spyware and malwarebytes (links below). Both those delete ANY virus. I scanned with both, some finds others that others don’t find. So USE both and update both.

URGENT : Please go into Safe mode, do not ignore that step or else the virus will interfere with your activity (Example : Denying you internet access). Also viruses don’t allow you to open up programs or anti-virus software, and being in Safe mode allows you to do that. In Safe Mode, the virus cannot interfere with you getting rid of it.

After downloading in safe mode, UPDATE them. PLEASE Update. You’ll see this option, don’t be alarmed.

Quick scan and quarantine/delete/remove. And you are cleaned.

If those do not work, go into safe mode and download Spybot search and destroy. Update!

Restart and now you are clean.

Stay safe by downloading COMODO Internet Security (free) and keep those anti-virus softwares I told you to download.

This has nothing to do with Avast;you’re infected with what’s known as a smitfraud.
Go to CNET at http://www.download.com and download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and update the signatures. Then go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com and get into the Uninstall List and look for this program that said your infected.Follow the instructions that they give you to get rid of this infection.
