You’ll only need anti-virus if you install MS Windows. There are no real Mac viruses. Granted, there’s not much software for Macs either.
If you get a lot of attachments – something will slip through. If Avira Guard works for macs get it – it’s free and updates every time you start up. Go to free anti viurs downloads and check out AVG.
