Because i just had to restore my computer to en earlier point, because i had a fake virus software on here saying i had viruses blah blah, you know. And i couldn’t take it off. So i had to go back a few days? trend micro should of worked though right ?

Use Linux or Unix. No need for anti-virus, comp runs faster and tends to be free.
i had a major virus on my old computer and i used that software and it worked perfectly. as long as you get to the problem before you cant install it, you should be good
You should use Malwarebyte to remove the rogue antivirus. Even if you do system restore, the rogue antivirus won’t get off. AFter you get the rogue antivirus, the you can install Trend Micro.
Assuming it’s current (data download within the last 24 hours) it’s as good as any (meaning that if the virus isn’t in the program’s database it can’t protect you against that virus). Avast is just as good, and it’s free. http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
BTW, system restore does nothing to remove viruses. Viruses don’t install, so there’s nothing in the registry to remove (and system restores just restores backups of the registry). It can cause you a lot of problems, though. Don’t use it in the future, until you learn what it does and why to use it. (Or just back up the registry when you need to, and restore from your own backups manually.)
