I have a spyware virus and it says I have 38 infections when yesterday my laptop was just FINE!!! I try to download a new anti spyware or microsoft defender and new anti virus stuff when i install it a message says the application cannot be opened because it’s infected!!!! WHAT DO I DO??? PLEASE HELP!!! Also this thing called Total Security keeps popping up saying i could fix the problem but i have to register and pay!!! I NEED HELP!!!
How to Remove a Virus:
Scan your machine for Malware.
Download and install “Malwarebytes” from http://www.download.com (FREE)
After install make sure the program is fully up-to-date.
Run full system scan. (Quick scan can miss some things).
“Can’t install or run Malwarebytes?”
-Try renaming the mbam-setup.exe if installation fails.
-Try renaming the mbam.exe if the program installs, but doesn’t run.
-Try starting in Safe-mode with Networking if program fails to install, run, or update. (Hit F8 key repeatedly when computer is starting after a reboot.)

well first off don’t register or pay for that, its a scam. Try downloading and installing AVG Free and Spybot. update them both then let them run a full scan. I bet that will fix you up.

some viruses will try to disable it
so if malwarebytes will not start up
then go into the folder it is in and rename the mbam file to XXXX .exe
then double click on the file you just renamed to start it up.
after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.
