My PC got infected with Trojan fakealert and other virus just now. HELP!! Where can I get free download and remove these viruses? I tried to install Kaspersky the 30 days trial version, but during the installation process, it ask me to remove the McAfee siteadvisor 2008. But I can’t find and uninstall the siteadvisor thing in control panel > Programs > uninstall.
Most importantly, how to remove the virus?!!
I just installed the free version of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php.
So after I run a full scan and it finds some infection, then, what should I do to remove the viruses?

After Malwarebytes finished scanning, click on Show Report.
In the report, select the infected file(s) and click Remove to remove the infected files.
Always reboot your PC after that.
If the problem persists, try Combo Fix

It removes some worms which Malwarebytes cannot remove, but make sure you download from those approved sites in the link, not from elsewhere becuase they may have worms in it.
Good luck!

Download, install and update Malwaebytes’ Anti-Malware free here:

Then run a full system scan.
Yes, remove them and reboot your computer when it’s complete.
This is a good guide to using Malwarebytes:

Take it slowly and it will make sense. Takes a while to do the whole lot but is well worth while.
