Did you install it, then get sick of it and uninstall? The uninstall may not be complete! Go to the website and get specific instructions how to do this, because they’re all different.

If you have a keylogger (monitoring software) running, you may get tons of false hits that you have a virus! Just uninstall it and find a better one (I’m looking myself!).

Some of those so called protection programs act like viruses themselves. Download and run Ad-aware(by lavasoft) to look for adware and spy programs.
If that don’t do you, then try Spybot search and destroy, but make sure you update it first before you run it so it has the latest in virus signatures. Basically that will do it. If not at that point then google the spyware program as it is called and add the word removal in the search bar.
