My pen drive has a virus of "rahul the Hacker web net.com’". Even if I open yahoo, google etc. it appears automatically on the top of the tool bar. How to remove the same from the system as well from the pen drive?

get a good antivirus software. I use nod32 and it’s great, it also includes an antispyware. scan the whole computer and your pen drive. if it finds and infection just delete it. if this didn’t work for your usb drive, reformat it by right-clicking that drive on my computer then click format.

    Re-format the drive.

Look up "Conficker worm"; it spreads via pen (thumb) drives.

Try to open the registry and fix it. Or, open the location i believe in windows/sytem32 i think

The best way to fix it is to throw your computer and replace it with a new and good PSP.:)

Just joking consult your local technician.

open my computer and select the pen drive, then right click and format the pen drive,THIS WILL DELETE EVERY THING ON THE PEN DRIVE.
so be aware if you have important files, copy them tempory to your computer, then you can put them back to your pen drive after formatting it.
    good luck.

throw away the pen drive to stop it reinfecting your pc(they are pretty cheap nowdays). If you have anti virus )which you probably don’t as you contracted one) run it, the virus will prevent regular checks. Format your HDD and re-install windows from the disc. Try staying away from suspect sites and maybe get a decent virus protection. I’m running avast! free version and all is fine with my pc. AVG free version is also good. Maybe also change your browser to mozilla firefox as it’s less susceptible to viruses unlike IE which seems to pick them up all the time. good luck.
