use your friend’s computer to download AVG antivirus which is free and put it on a flash drive. install the antivirus on your computer and let it scan your computer and then let it remove all the infections. if it doesn’t let you install the program, try booting up in the safemode by pressing F8 when you turn on your computer and then install and run the antivirus.

    reinstall windows

Super Anti Spyware for "spyware" and AVG for "virus" removal. Both are free and work great. A system restore is your last option after everything has failed.

System restore it, use a anti virus and remove it, reboot the whole computer with reboot disks and finally you can go out and just buy a whole new hard drive

  • Cairnsy says:

You need to restore your factory settings mate be warned though it will wipe any folders you have and will restore the computer to when you bought it new

  • Andrew C says:

install anti-virus software like Norton Antivirus. run a full system scan and the software should get rid of the virus. installing anti-virus software and setting up a firewall should also keep you from getting many viruses.

Dont panic or anythin. Best to use your friends computer, download, stick on USB, stick in ur computer, install, scan.. BOOM! no more trojan, do full scan, for like 3 times in 2 days. Then use
Spybot search and destroy to remove it completely
Finally get rid of system restore files incase its ther.

SEE TROJAN IS A VERY STRONG AND EFFECTIVE VIRUS .
THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF TROJAN WHICH R NOT EVEN DETECTED BY MANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARES DELETING IS FAR AWAY .
BY THE WAY USE A GOOD ANTIVIRUS FIRST OF ALL SUCH AS QUICK HEAL OR MACFEE ETC.
I WILL RECOMEND THE QUICK HEAL
BY THE WAY U SHOULD FIRST UPDATE UR CURRENT ANTIVIRUS ANYWAY THIS CAN HELP U REMOVING LATEST THREATS
BUT THERE IS NO OTHER WAYS TO REMOVE TROJANS EXCEPT USING A GOOD ANTIVIRUS OR FORMATING UR COMPUTER
    GOOD LUCK.

system restore to a restore point won’t work with a lot of trojans… they’re sophisticated enough now to hide and stick around. AVG (as recommended) is an excellent free anti-virus program, but it might not be enough to safely remove an already existing trojan.

my recommendation is to go to Tech Support Forum at http://www.techsupportforum.com/

TSF is a group of professional security experts who will help you with step by step instructions of how to first see what’s on your computer (you might have much more than a trojan) and then safely remove.

it is not a quick fix solution! register at TSF (it’s 100% free) and follow their instructions… which will generally include running "hijack this!" (which allows them to see what processes are running on your computer) as well as one or more online virus scanners.

be sure to follow their directions *explicitly*. these are pros and you don’t want to waste their time if you really want your computer cleaned. i’ve used them before and i highly recommend their site.

edit: others have recommended a number of other solutions… including editing your registry, etc., or downloading specific anti-trojan programs. i recommend strongly against this! unless you’re a pro (and by posting your question here it’s pretty clear you’re not, i know i’m not either), YOU SHOULDN’T DO THIS YOURSELF! this is why i strongly recommend using techsupportforum so you will have security experts guiding you through the process in removing the trojan.

they will in the course of the process tell you to do several things mentioned here (booting in safe mode, using trendmicro’s housecall and/or another online virus scanner, using spybot, etc.)… but they’ll tell you specifically what order to do things in and monitor your progress… which is really needed.

when you switch on your pc hit the F8 button and keep hitting it.you should end up on a screen with several options pick safemode with networking.when it fires up run anantivirus program and any other spyware program you have.this should get rid of a goodfew. if you havnt got them you can download them in safe mode. then restart your pc. it should start normally. go to trend micro house call and run the housecall program.it takes a while but its worth it. then go to control. add/remove microsoft look through the list for system restore and turn it off. restart your pc. the go back and turn it on again. this will delete the restore file so you dont bring the junk back.then run a program called eusing reg cleaner its a freebie

A trojan horse is an executable program that is designed to disrupt or hijack applications on your computer. The reason why these programs are developed are often to initiate other attacks from more advance malware such as spyware.

You need to kill the process and the dll files attached the trojan. You need to edit the msconfig and registry to stop it from loading startup. Here is a good tutorial:
