i did a full scan with my semantic antivirus and it show a trojan virus and the status as infected, so i clicked the remove button and restarted my pc and did a full scan again and now it doesnt show it. so this means that the virus has been completley removed right? it would show in the scan if it were still there? should i still reimage the pc?

sounds like you got rid of it if the other scan didnt pick it up again.

By the sounds of it the Trojan was removed. Since the program did not detect it again its probably gone. Still i would recommend keeping an eye on your computer if it starts to slow down run another scan

Quarantine the Trojan Virus. In that way the Trojan will vanish.
