How to remove psw.x-vir, w32.myzor, spyware.cyberlog_x, networm-i.virus@fp, trojan-spy.win32@mx?????
Someone pls help me with these annoying spyware/trojans/viruses!
I keep getting nonstop popups telling me to download antispyware scanners also "avsystemcare" installs by itself on my computer
i have tried these free spyware scanners : Ad-Ware, Spyware Terminator, AVG spyware on SAfe Mode
I also tried a guide that someone recommended on yahoo of "smitfraudfix" on safe mode and that didn’t work either!
PLS HELP!!! i am wiling to go to the computer store to buy a good spyware/virus software… as long as it gets rid of these pesks!
pls if u have experienced this problem before!! pls tell me what to do or what software will GET RID OF THESE PESTS!! IA M GOING CRAZY!!

PCTools products do get good reviews. The good thing is they have free versions of their products. They work great. Spyware Doctor from the Google pack is a must. I highly recommend it. I bought Webroots Spysweeper and spyware doctor finds stuff spysweeper does not. Having both is a perfect combo and I recommend running two anti-spyware products.

I hate to say it, but it comes down to three options. You spend hours and money in different programs that will make your computer a little faster.. but will still have the residue of those viruses. Second, you can reformat everything.. (this is a long and could be difficult process for first-timers). Lastly, you can try a System Restore. System Restore does not always work, but there have been times where it has saved me in the past.

Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx etc. are NOT real viruses. That warning is fake. It is a scam to attempt to get you to purchase a rogue malware removal product. The balloon about "Your computer is infected" or "System Alert", is always false, phony and fradulant. The actual trojan that has caused your problem is no doubt one of the hundreds (now in the thousands)of varients of what is commonly called "Zlob".
Your computer is indeed infected. This infection is called Smitfraud and it will give you phony scam virus warnings( and often redirect you to a site selling a bogus anti virus product), trying to sell you junk such as Pest Capture, Pest Trap, Virus Burst, Spyware Quake,Virus Heal and other non working anti virus apps.
