My computer has been infected by a trojan virus called infostealer.lineage. I can’t seem to get it off my computer, i’ve tried using Norton and Trend Micro, Ad-Aware SE, Spy Bot, Windows Defender, AVG Anti-Spyware and I still can’t seem to get rid of it. A message keeps popping up saying my computer has been infected by a trojan virus, but when i try to get rid of it, none of my anti-virus programs can seem to detect or get rid of it. If anyone knows how to properly remove it from my computer please let me know!!
Download Spybot and run it and check to see if it finds any viruses./ You might also want to run Adaware afterwards and this way if Spybot misses a virus perhaps Adaware will get it.

ok some of those spyware remover progrmas have viruses in them an try to get you to buy there software to get rid of it, try deleting all but nortons an run nortons, defender is one of those bad progrmas that do that, go to http://www.http://spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm an see if any of those programs you have are in the list.
Go to your antivirus program’s website. They will have special cleaners for the trojan horse virus you listed. Download it and do the scan. That should take care of it. If that doesn’t, get customer support from your antivirus provider.
You say you have Norton and Trend Micro. I do hope you don’t have 2 antivirus programs both up and running on your computer. One will basically de-activate the other. You can only use ONE Antivirus program.
Go to Symantic.com. They should have a number to call to help remove your virus. It will cost $99.00. You will be on the phone a while but it will work. I had to do the same thing 2 weeks ago. Note: they will go into your computer and remove the virus.
It might be sitting in your boot record and executes each time you open thereby reinfecting yourself each time you log in. Unprotect your boot up and scan with your Norton then protect again. This should get rid of anything that embedded there. Good luck.
