I know that I can install things in safe mode but some programs won’t let you run them in safe mode. So how can I run the software to remove the virus if it keeps restarting?
Both of these links didn’t show me anything. Does someone else know what to do and can explain it?
It keeps restarting. I can’t go into to anything like control panel. I can’t even find it in safe mode.

If your computer always restart, There are some reason:
I. It’s Hot in There
Sometimes this can be caused by an overheating situation. Itunes, RealPlayer, Windows Media player, etc. require a lot of processing power to decompress and decode music files, which can cause the processor or hard drive to get hot.
Memory Fails Me…
If you determine that overheating is not the problem, the most likely suspect is bad memory.
II. Don’t Do Me Any Favors
There’s a setting buried in Windows XP that tells your computer to restart when a system error occurs. you turn off that option, you may solve your automatic reboot problem.
1) Click Start, then open Control Panel
2) Click Performance and Maintenance
3) Click System
4) Click on the Advanced Tab
5) Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section
6) Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System failure section
Note that this may prevent the system from restarting, but it can also mask the true problem.
The most common cause of computer restarting is a corrupt registry.
Most likely your registry is bloated and overstuffed with an assortment of useless pieces of data. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There will be bits of programs which were not completely uninstalled, parts of programs which were never completely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, useless drivers, and a multitude of other bits and pieces.
The answer is to clean your registry and remove all the material which is not needed.

Get the best one, and completely clean your windows registry with a few clicks of the mouse.
III. Computer Restarts After Download?
This can also be a virus or spyware problem. I suggest you go through your Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs list and remove any programs you don’t need, then run thorough anti-virus and anti-spyware scans. See:

Could be a hardware problem causing the restart rather than software. Could be processor overheating, faulty memory or bad sectors on the hard disk.
1. Check processor fan. Open case. You will see a large metal block with a fan on the top – this is the processor heatsink. Is it properly secured? Is the fan spinning round?
2. Check memory. Switch off the computer and take out the memory module(s). Be careful of static damage touching with hands – best use an earth strap, or handle carefully while touching the computer case. If you are unfamiliar with changing memory modules ask someone who has done it before to help. If there are two or more modules, try them one at a time (make sure it is in slot 1). The computer will run slower as it has less memory, but this method will tell you if you have a memory fault. If you only have one module, find someone else with a computer that uses the same type of memory and borrow another module for the same test.
3. Check Hard Disk. From ‘My Computer’, select drive C, right-click and select ‘properties’. Select the ‘Tools’ tab and under ‘error checking’ select ‘check now’. Select both check boxes and click ‘start’. It will ask you if you want to schedule a disk check next time the computer starts. Select ‘yes’ and shut down the computer. Switch on the computer again and don’t press any keys. You will see a blue screen and the disk check will start. This can take some hours with a large disk, so be patient. If problems are found it can take longer.
Hope this helps – good luck!
