Please, this is already driving me crazy…
I had installed PC tools anti-virus before and I already uninstalled it aready before using the add/remove program but it keeps saying that still the program is running. Now, I want to install AVG antivrus but it says another anti-virus or security product is currently installed. Please help me… I already tried CCleaner, Revo Unistaller, Your Uninstaller but still its there…..
Click start’ Click search Click files and folders. Type in PC Tools. Whatever it finds delete it. Then go to Glarysoft.com, get Glary Utilitys. Scan you machine for any old registry keys and delete them. On the Glary user face go to modules’ Uninstall manager. Look for your program there. On the user face see Empty files and folders. Click on it. Look for any files with PC tools on it. Delete it.
Go to safe mode then locate the PC tools anti-virus application on C:/Windows or at Programs or at Add/remove on control panel.

I would just do a search when you have time to search your "C" Drive for more of the PC Tools, NOW IF you have another Hard drive in your computer there may be another instance of it running from another drive and it may not show up when your in your Add-Remove programs, If nothing else do the manual search from the search command after you click on start, then go to search and type in the file name and then when you find them all, you may just have to remove them all one at a time,, the old fashioned way,,

Go to msconfig see any process is running for the antivirus remove those process and search for the files in your pc and delete those antivirus files………………
