I use Norton, and they’ve detected a trojan virus that need manually removed. I have gone to the Symantec website but the directions for disabling and enabling system restore aren’t for vista so I can’t follow them. How do i go about this?
I have spybot and ad-aware as well, but only Norton detected this trojan virus!

  • Hello says:

Start –> Computer –> System Properties –> System Protection (below Tasks) –> Uncheck the C:\ and D:\ to turn off the system restore.

Did you use Norton 2009 versions ? It gives better protection and faster speed for your computer ! Download it from : http://softwaregroup.web.officelive.com/download

I’d have to agree with Guitar. My norton virus protection needed to updated but I was never notified so I ended up getting 11 trojans and when I wanted to scan my system and remove them Norton crashed and didn’t work anymore.
