		<description>To be honest this sounds nasty enough to not bother restoring it and formatting the hard drive and doing a fresh install.  That just sounds too heavy duty for me.

If you have anything important enough that it has to be saved try safe mode if that dosn&#039;t work boot from your Windows XP disk and do a restore.  That should &quot;Fix it&quot; so you can get your stuff but I would still do a fresh install after that.</description>
