-I was using my laptpo today for about 10 minutes, then it began to freeze so I didn’t do anything. Then when it "recovered", my desktop looked like this: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc257/qweenzfinez/desktop.jpg
-Since I’ve had this laptop (Christmas ’08), I never could do a System Restore. I’v tried, but it wouldn’t even open the System Restore window.
-I usually use Opera as my Web Browser, but since today, I can’t even open it.
-All I’m able to use is Windows Internet Explorer, and at the top of amost every web page,it infoms me that I have ’18 Trojans on my machine’. Look: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc257/qweenzfinez/internet.jpg
-When I try to click on the link that’s @ the top of the pages, a little info box pops up informing me that "Your current security settings does not allow this file to download." (FYI: I never agreed to download anything)
-I KNOW for a FACT that I have Java Script enabled and everything, but for some reason, it’s telling me that because of my Internet Options, I can’t install the program.
-I can’t even see the images online.
-I’ve called ASUS (the company who made the laptop) & I keep getting a busy signal.
-I don’t know what number to call for Microsoft.
-I have ASUS EEE PC1000HD with Microsoft XP Home Edition.
-My laptop is very tiny, it doesn’t even have a CD slo or anything.
If anyone can help me i ANY way,I would really appreciate it.
My Yahoo is: Brianna91178

I literally cried when my laptop said it has a virus.
I’ll TRY to buy ny programs or whatever.
I don’t have much money (I’m only 16) to buy anti-virus software, but I’ll save for it if I have to.
Please help me..

Restart your laptop, start tapping F8 as soon as you see your screen and choose safe mode with networking.Go here, download, install, update and run a full scan while still in safe mode.Be patient,a full scan may take an hour or more. It’s free by the way.

That message is a scam. It is not a virus scanner, it is a virus. The only anti-virus programs you should EVER run (and you should run all of them on a regular basis) are AVG, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot. You should ignore absolutely everything else that uses the word "anti-virus." Google those programs and run them immediately. They’re all free and very reliable.
Try downloading Nod32 antivirus from eset.com Of course, youll only be getting the trial, but its an award winning anti-virus and the only thing different from the trial and the full version is how long it lasts. Meaning, you still get the full-powered search and destroy feature. So use that to scan and see what you have. Good luck

That should eliminate the problems. If for some reason you can’t install and run these, reboot and enter safe mode by hitting F8 just after the BIOS finishes and before you see the Windows booting screen. Select safe mode with networking.
Your computer probably doesn’t have any bad stuff yet. If you were to click on the link and the stuff installed, you’d be in worse shape.
Notice that the anti-virus warning isn’t even good English. It is more typical of a language translated to English or English as a second language. Almost a sure sign it is bad.
If this doesn’t fix it, we may have to go to manual removal.

you have spyware. boot to safe mode with f8 and run your antivirus. if you don’t have one, avast is free, adaware is free, and they work. use them.
oh, don’t cry little boy..calm down. try to use avast anti-virus its for free and can remove trojan.. it has a virus cleaner that you can use on your infected files.
avast! Virus Cleaner is a tool that will remove selected viruses from your computer. While avast! itself is able to detect and delete almost all known viruses, avast! Virus Cleaner can handle only a small selection of the most common ones. The list can be displayed (in the avast! Virus Cleaner tool) by clicking on the "About" button.
avast! Virus Cleaner is built directly into the avast! Antivirus. If you need, however, it is also possible to download a stand-alone version of the avast! Virus Cleaner from the ALWIL Software web pages – for free. Both the versions (the downloadable one and the one integrated into avast! Antivirus) are the same.
If avast! detects a virus that is possible to remove using the avas
