I have a trojan virus and have done all that I know of to remove it . even went to tech support and had them remotely look at my pc and they said it was gone …. but I have norton virus protection and it said that i still have it some one PLEASE help me !
You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware.

Its free. Download it, update it, scan your computer, and then delete anything found. If there is a trojan, this baby will find it. I Highly recommend it.
Get AVG Anti-Virus protection. Download it off the ineternet. It’s free and safe. Even I have it. It scans your computer and then it moves the virus to the vault so you can remove it from there.
Oh man i hate that virus. Your antivirus should kill it, but if it doesn’t you should get the files of the computer onto a disk or flash drive, make sure they are virus free, and format the whole hard drive.
I actually got one of those stinkin things on my mp3 player, and it ruined it(the player)
norton anti virus is a bad anti virus, even when you uninstall it fully, it leaves it still leaves some of its components behind.
and when you install another anti virus, norton keeps saying that the other antivirus is a virus, and fights will occur between.
its a very shifty anti virus.
my advise is to use avast or symantec or spybot.

It would be nice if you told us what virus you have.
So I can only help you with limited advice.
You should always mention which OS you are using also.

1. Please disable your System Restore if you are using Windows XP or Windows Me
2. Get a Dr Web Cure It. It is a powerful removal for Trojan or any other type of malware. You can get it free from here

Well of course it’s not really gone.
The only effective way to remove malware is a clean reinstallation of Windows.
After you do that, ditch Norton and get some real security to prevent further infections.
Good security requires a multi-layered approach, and the least important layer by far is running some kind of anti-malware program (in fact, if you take care of all the other layers, you don’t even need an anti-malware program using up extra resources).
In order of importance:
1. Create and use almost exclusively a limited user account instead of the default administrator account Windows sets you up with
2. Read up on social engineering and how to avoid it
3. Don’t download illegal copies of software, music, or movies
4. Set Windows updates to install automatically
5. Make regular backups. If possible, back up your entire installation (using Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image)
i had the same problem this morning, download the trojan virus remover, scan your computer and restart it, norton will proabaly say it’s still there, so restart your computer again, hope i helped!
