Has anyone ever tried the Vipre anti-virus protection software?
I am trying to decide which anti-virus software to buy. Right now it’s a toss up between Vipre, Bit Defender, Kaspersky and Panda. pcantivirusreviews.com rates Vipre as the number one anti-virus software but I have never heard of it and I don’t know if they are just a front site to promote the vipre software. Can someone please shed some light on this?
Thanks.

Vipre is ok, its a rename of old and reputable software. Sunbelt is old and reputable security company. Though I would go with Kaspersky from your list. Or nod32
I use Vipre and am happy with it.
I also use the firewall from the same company (Sunbelt Software).
I have never heard of it either, but Mcafee site adviser gives it an ok with no complaints from users.
